Isabel Allende
DOJ Accredited Representative
Isabel's passion is service to the community, she collaborated with the Family Center at Granger Elementary as a volunteer who empowered parents and families with language barriers.
In March 2019, Allende arrived at Comunidades Unidas as a volunteer and later graduated from the Promotoras program in June of the same year. She started working as a Promotora of the Ventanilla de Asesoría Financiera--Comunidades Unidas’ financial advisory program--at the Mexican Consulate. There, she provides educational workshops for the community, so that every Latino in Utah can be healthy, economically stable, and self-sufficient. Likewise, she tasks herself with the responsibility to empower families with lower incomes so they can obtain assistance through programs such as SNAP and Medicaid.
